Shoe fit: Tyrwhitt to C&J 337 ???

I am looking at getting a pair or two of C&J shoes on the 337 last.

I traditionally wear a US size 11, and find that the Charles Tyrwhitt UK size 10.5 (on the English-made shoes) fits nicely.

Any suggestions on the appropriate size to get in the C&J 337 last?

I think it's better to try them out. I own a pair of C&J on the 337 last, but I am not able to advice you, for I can not see your feet, etc.

You can always ask your retailer for a smaller or larger size.

If there were a C&J store within a thousand miles of where I live, I'd certainly just go try them on and find out for myself.

Since I'll be ordering over the internet, I'd like to get as much info as possible before ordering, so as to avoid the PITA of shipping returns. Ideally, someone out there has both CT shoes and C&J 337s ...

YMMV, but I'm a 12US, and Tyrwhitt chukkas in an 11UK were too narrow for me. The 12s are too big, but not unwearable. So sizing up half a size seems right. In C&J, I'm generally a 10.5UK (in their elongated lasts). So from my experience, I'd size up a full size.

Never owned a pair of Tyrwhitt shoes, but C&J on the 337 fit 1 size up in US. My C&J Handgrades are 6.5 UK and have a 11.5" outsole and around 4" width, if that helps.
