I have some black shoes where at the toe area there is a slight discoloring. A square inch of the toe has a matte like finish that is different from the rest of the shoe. This is really noticeable when i wipe the shoes with conditioner or water, where the matte area really stands out, like its absorbing the moisture and becoming wet like while the rest of the shoe glistens.
Any idea what it is, or how I can repair it? I think heavy black cream usage + a mirror shine should do it. Also, this is full grain leather, not corrected.
