I don't really get the narrow toe shoe trend as of late. Personally speaking, I prefer a fuller, rounded to in order to complement the hang of the pant. Unless you are wearing pencil-toe pant legs then I would think that a more rounded toe would be desired. I'm a off an a bizarre tangent here or are others on the same wave-length>

I have small feet (size 8) so I usually prefer longer (chiseled) lasts. Otherwise I feel silly.

However, I do think shoes are getting pointer. One example is the G&G Deco line just seems too long - even for my taste.

I think you'll find that many different rounded last styles get lot's of respect here. Alden, EG, G&G, Trickers, St. Crispin, Alfred Sargent and many others all have excellent round toe last styles. Some are elongated but not pointy, some are not. Take a look at zippyh's posting in the Alden thread (#11848) in the Streetwear and Denim section. An excellent collection of all American shoes.

I have the opposite problem. I wear a 15A and anything that isn't round looks a little silly on me. Everything is sleek.
