1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

A bit so yes! Heel part are different from 20's shoes though I believe, more curves.

what made you choose the almond short versus the classic round or the classic round short?

Fit. Almond toe and Perfetta are based on the same base last, which works better for my type of feets than the classic round and classic square lasts, which is based on another form. So much easier for Riccardo to make the modifications needed for a really good fit for me on those lasts.

1950's Ravello Shell Cordovan Shortwing Gunboats. Pre-Longwing's dominating the market. Tanks.

Thanks! Glad they are appreciated. I just received them as part of a 20 pair lot from an old friend. His Father passed away 10 years ago and he is just starting to go thru his home. Found a treasure trove of unworn and once worn 1950's footwear.

    These are a size 10D.
