1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Some new-to-me Gravati on top. Pulled out the shine box for the chukkas, so I figured I'd shine up some others while I was at it.

Just curious, how much did it cost you? Mine cost around 14500 HKD which was around 1.9K, even more expensive than my St. Crispin's.

I think they were €1250 w/ VAT, but the week has been quite a wirlwind so I may be off by a €100 or so.

Thanks! I bought them cheap on Ebay, and they looked quite terrible. Gave them some love, and they came around quite nice. Here's some before/after-pics if anyone's interested.

I liked the shoes to begin with, but the result of your work is awesome. How long did it take for the whole process, start to finish? Did you have any concerns/challenges in getting the coloring consistent between both shoes? Did you put a finish coat of any sort on the shoes when you were done?
