1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The 2 eyelet derbies look like the Lobb Luffield.

Also, I believe that Corthay are GY.

Good call on the Lobb Luffield... but from my understanding Corthay = blake / rapid? I thought they were made in the same fashion as Berluti?

Nope. Except for the Black patent Limited Edition Arca, all Corthays are GY welted.
And they are closer to EG TD or JLP than Berluti in quality, IMO.

Four seconds work with a kitchen knife will have the heel taps off, with no damage done.

+1, or a screwdriver for instance.

Done! The screwdriver did the job.

    Thanks,

This is the nicest looking Alden PTB I've ever seen. The shoe looks terrific on the Plaza last.

The Plaza last is so comfortable or is that just me?

I also find the Plaza last to be very comfortable. For me, the Hampton last is most comfortable with the Plaza following close behind.
