    It is Cliff Roberts standard last with added material on the instep as the previous pair I had from him left too big a gap in the lacing area. Yes it is comfy.

    Finally got myself a pair of Dover's. These are 10.5/11 C on the 606 last in Dark Oak Willow Calf on double Dainite soles. Even in C width the 606 is still a burly last - which I like. I understand this was formerly discontinued. Not sure if they found a batch in the back or it's once again in rotation. The grain as seen in the second photo adds a nice subtle touch.

    short cap distract eye,
    it make design look little off.

    I like the Barker short cap--it looks more deliberate, more like a deisgn feature.

    As to the Cliff Roberts shoe (not trying to be a jack ass) but if this is on a "standard last" how is this a bespoke shoe? This makes it a MTM shoe to my mind. HOw much of the shoe is crafter to match your foot?
