    I took my AE kingsleys to my cobbler and asked for new leather soles and heels ($75). I asked him if this included replacement of the corkbed, which I think is standard on these shoes (and maybe all AE welted shoes?). He says yes; no extra charge.

    Is that usually the case? I haven't developed a relationship with this cobbler as I just moved to this area. After I get my shoes back, how can I be sure he actually put in the new corkbed?

    Long vamp and somewhat short cap. Reminiscent of Vintage, one might say...

    I have agree with you, based on the shape of that shoe. That "bump" where the little toe is exagerates the smaller toecap.

    Reminiscent of Barker Blacks with that short toecap. But quite an unusual last IMO.
