Namor - awsm stuff

Thought of going bespoke or kick-ass MTO?

would slow down the accumulation and up the quality.

Just a thought.

Pliny, I thought about that and eventually ill go MTO. All this kopping has given me a broad understanding and appreciation of various styles, materials, quality, etc. 2011 was a steep learning curve.

Couldn't agree more with your strategy. Leaves me wondering though if you have considered Carmina and Vass yet. They both do a good deal of work in shell, which I know you are fond of.

Looked into Vass but sizing was an issue. I love what I have seen from Carmina. Funny your bring uo Carmina because up until today I was in a Carmina MTO for a shell Balmoral boot and a Navy Shell Jodphur. but no longer. At this point I just need to wear the shoes I have and not even think about any more pairs, lest I see a psychiatrist. After all, Ive only got 2 legs

The thought of my feet vanishing has crossed my mind. Headline: man with 35+ pairs of shoes loses feet. oh the irony

Hey legless guys still need shoes once the prosthetics are in situ.

I like yo strategy to hang for a bit tho- every now and then it's good to take stock. I've found my tastes have changed over time and some early kops I wouldn't even consider now. Only certain thing is that as my collection builds my taste for decent construction and fine leather gets more demanding.

To the average man, I have "so many" shoes but compared to Styleforum I feel inadequate

Come on SOS, there is a pair of Gordon Rush in all of our pasts.

for me, it was Kenneth Cole... and their glued soles lasted for 15 years... In rain & all sortsof bad weather. Much respect to their memory.

dunno, how far you went back in history. it's for sure when you start with custom made shoes, either mto or bespoke, you save this regrets hence the relationship is different.
