1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Amazing- thanks for this Bengal, I always wondered the provenance of some sleek chisel-toed suede 3-eye Bluchers I took to my cobbler for a resole in '83. He held them up and said 'oh oh oh ooooooh.....' (okay, he was French) .... la Saxone! .. tres tres belle!'.

That man appreciated a good shoe.

exactly. i have circa a dozen pairs in this style. regarding your ideas: i don't care for bevelled and tight waist. this is a stylistical choice of personal preference, though. let's change over to the austro-hungarian thread. i have a few questions, which belong there. thanks

Picked up a pretty unique pair of Paul Stuart's Choice tassel single eyelet shoes.

Fair to say they are GMP?

The information provided inside the oval is in different sequence for EG vs. Grenson Masterpieces. Generally, EG will say something like 9.5/10E888 on the top line. Size, width, last.

I dont know what Grenson lists on the top row but its obviously different.

Heel pattern knowledge is useful if the shoes still have original heels.

To dye for. I thought, I'll add some colour to this thread. Although I must admit, that it is more FW 2013 than SS 2012. Love it or hate it.

As I said: More Fall/Winter than Spring / Summer, but they work very well with a grey cashmere flannel trousers and a black knitted turtleneck sweater, trust me.

theyare: I compared your pair's markings and heel nail patterns to my EG house slippers. I'd say yours are made by EG. A rare pair.
