I ordered these at an EG trunk show at Leffot last September and they cleared customs today.
For the amount of time and $ I entered bespoke territory, but I got this notion to do a top drawer Beaulieu when I saw it on Leathersoul a few years ago and I could not shake the idea.
I am very happy with the results... it will be bitter-sweet to wear these on the street!

Agree. Phenomenal looking. Are those soles standard on EG or only the MTO?

Does TD289 on the box mean that there have only been 289 shoes made under that program so far? Very nice shoes btw.

    thanks!

no idea - if the TD program was started (re-started?) around 2006 that would be about 6 shoes a month, when I ordered them the rep from EG quoted a very low production figure... can't remember if it was that low

if you have the time and cash, do it

thanks, the soles are a feature of the "top drawer" range , no they are not standard and it's not available (that I am aware of) with a standard MTO order as well

Shockingly yes! I would have never got a rubber soled shoe, but this was an awesome combo of a stylish sleek last, a great color and perfect for a rainy day.
