These look fantastic!! Which make are they?
Would be really interested in a group shot of your collection. Should be fantastic.
thanks, Onix. Funny thing is that my collection is kind of like the U.S. Government. Probably best not to have them all out on display in the same place at the same time. When neatly tucked away in the "Shoe Cave" (closet), they seem reasonable enough. However, I'm afraid that the sheer insanity of the sight of all those shoes together may well drive my wife's "Shoe Addicted Husband" Comedy Routine for the next year!
Thanks, they look great. Best BW I have seen.
From you, a fellow Vintage Fanatic, the compliment means a lot.
That's right, Isshi- best not to come out of the closet.
Don't ask and I won't tell.
Well aware that TF shoes dont get a lot of love here on the forum, but whatever, I love these.
Just came in yesterday, MTO, cognac leather captoes. I tried to capture the lasting on the toe box, it is definitely different than EG, G&G, etc. It does have a chiseled shape, but also much higher/roomier. And the waist is just awesome--the narrowest waist of any type of shoes I have, not quite as pronounced as G&G decos, but close.
And whoever does the polishing uses Saphir. The smell was unmistakable when I opened the box.
And if anybody can tell me why my photos are rotated upside down, I am all ears.
Beautiful OTT antiquing...quanta costa?
^ you okay there J? btw, whats TF? tom ford?
Yep, TF = Tom Ford.
I post 'em up tomorrow.
Cost is roughly the same as G&G Deco or EG Top Drawer. On the high side, but... Of the two I have that I paid full retail for (these being one), both were so friggin' sexy that my judgement was severely impaired. I guess I can always make more pesos.
good looking boots, enjoy wearing
