Sold in Sweden here. Does not seem to be different than the normal collection other than the purple lining.

Those navy Guernesy tassels are unbelievable.

Personally, I think the color make those look super cheap. Like Payless cheap. You may wish to use some polish to liven them up a bit.

Having seen some of those purple collection in real life, they are insane. The woven chukkas are fantastic, as are the navy suede Lowndes with purple stitching. Just fantastic!

Drummonds look swell Mr. Moo.

I bought a pair of the same model in tan just today at one of the two C&J stores on Jermyn St. They didn't have navy on offer as RTW in either of the stores I was in. Were these made to order? Or on offer from another retailer?

[Edit - now that I've gone to the Swedish web site mentioned by Kungapa I see that not only are they Navy but also the stitching is PURPLE! :cloud: DAMN YOU MR. MOO! You got the fun onez! :lol]

How did you find the sizing? I ended up sizing down by 1/2 from my smallest pair of G & Gs. I found that the 348 last for the Drummonds was not only long (which I like) but also fairly roomy in width. Does this match with your experience?

I went through every shoe store on the street. Spent about 4 hours - it was a great chance to see most of the major UK makers in one afternoon.

I would have to say the most interesting color I saw was at Edward Green - a color they are marketing as 'chameleon' it was a lovely shade of pewter/olive. I managed to resist - but I'm sure that will only last so long.

It is the "purple collection" made for a maker in Sweden.

Well if you like em - keep em. Personally I would really struggle thinking of something to pair them up with. Also the colour makes the leather look pretty cheap and nasty.

+1 I would return them.

Really, bad enough that I should return them? Hmm.

The color is equally bad on these?

I LIKE these! There are all kinds of things you could wear with these shoes...anything but a suit, and even then, a summer suit will match fine.
