Have EG got new trees?
The trees are Saint Crispin (just like the shoes). The other two pairs featured (without trees) are EG
trees look like saint crispins...
Cheers, gents. I thought that all of them were EG.
you have to try a pair of st. crispin's then!
Those St. Crispin's are featured on LeatherSoul's website.
Looks like Edward Green is channeling Alden in this pic
Or any of the other countless now-defunct US makers who made a version of the Classic Plain Toe Blucher shoe... looks like these even have the storm welt.
Yep. They have a couple of stock Crup models this year that are all based on US styles. All with storm welt on Danite. These PTBs and a pair of shortwings. The good thing is that there is not a huge up-charge for these stock Crup models.
The MTO EG Crups I bought last year were all ~$500 USD more!
Ordered a pair in UK10 and can't wait. Thanks for the real life snaps.
Some damage from Ron's PS clear-out recently:
Back Row L-R:
Mystery Italian woven PTB, Marc Guyot Ghillies, Grenson Oxfords
Front Row L-R:
Grenson chukkas, Grenson slip-ons, Grenson specs.
Excuse the lack of proper shine on any of them
