I'm still looking for an older pair of goyser dinks of my own. I am guilty of "Carpetright Infringement".
ah, ok. no idea about the rug. was talking shoes.
maybe that carpet has some kind of shoe collecting drug woven into it

No need to apologize, friend! I'm not posting with a need to please or get praise. My tastes vary widely, and IMO, sometimes the ugliest are beautiful in their own way.

It IS fascinating that in the "Vintage Years", shoemakers would catch, kill & skin ANYTHING to make a shoe out of!
I don't understand SF fascination with the yawn-inducing designs of Great Britain and they're what, 95% of what people post...
