1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

"Those G&G shoes which fell onto my head were so beautifull that I died the very moment they hit me."

It's fun to die, if you are hit by the right footwear:

Are you crazy? It might fall!
Thank you for asking. I think I am on Style forum average.

Couldnt happen (sorry for Goethe): I took small risk on that shot (Japan is rather famous for earthquake), I put some tape on the sole during the picture.

    Awesome shine!
Actually G&G leather is really easy to polish.

Here my brown EG Cadogan (my favorite)

Once in a while, an eBay purchase really works out well, and this is one of those times. I'm not usually a fan of captoe bluchers but I love these!

This shoe looks sharp. I like the navy in the pic.

^^^Mine, too, but oddly, I rarely reach for them when I'm looking for a shoe to wear.

A little before SF and after SF comparison. It has been about 6 months since I joined (and I have bought and sold about 5 pairs that didn't fit correctly). Sorry for the crappy pics, not the best photogropher or camera.

Before...Hide your eyes, a lot of Kenneth Cole
    [IMG]

    After...
Bottom (L to R): Barker Black Archdale in Antique Chestnut, Barker Black Archdale in Black, Barker Blake Harboros in Burgundy, Barker Bacl Harboros in Mahogany
Top (L to R): Grenson Masterpice for Paul Stuart Timothy in Cognac, Allen Edmonds Delray in Chili, John Lobb Ashley in A Chocolate Brown, John Lobb Towcester in Black

That's great. I've had a similar transformation, but over the course of 3.5 years.

I went from Kenneth Coles (probably the same models as yours) in '06 and '07 and then "updgraded" to Ferragamos studio line (I had probably 5 pairs) along with Cole Haan's and a pair of Gucci loafers - these are the shoes most people I work with wear. I found StyleForum about a year ago. I now have two pairs of EG's (and another on order), a pair of C&J's and a pair of Sutors for Borrelli - obviously still building my collection.

89 Last? Good to know, as their site doesn't list it.
