    They are beautiful!

Can't wait for the Corthay store to open in London.

I'm going by Harrod's today to see the few Corthays that they have in stock. The last time I was there there weren't many other than exotics.

In any case - Congrats! I'll be anxious to here how you like them after some wearings.

Thanks for all the kind comments!

With the Corthays, I will have tried most of the RTW makers which I intend to. So far, the EG 888 last seems to fit me the best...

All RTW. From left to right:
    Carmina Simpon last (The Armoury)
    Carmina Alcudia last (The Armoury)
EG Midford dark oak antique 82 (Browns)
EG Inverness burgundy antique 888 (via SF/Saks sale)
EG Malvern chestnut antique 202 (via EG MTO)
AS Milton museum calf (AS MTO)

    First hugs, now jelly? :uhoh:

    :)

Lickable soles? Nice sturdy looking box? I might have to look into the Pierre character.

What size do you wear on the 888 as opposed to the Corthays? I needed to .5 size up on the 888 and 1 width down.

I placed my order in March, just when they were done in August, they realized that they got my order wrong (a contrast piping color even though I didn't request for it) and had to redo the shoe.

I'm a 7.5E in the 888 last, size 8 in the Arcas. 7E in JL 7000 and 8000. Corthay is going to release a wider version of the 001 last soon...geared towards the Asian market.

So 8E US across the board? If so, I know what I need to do.

    My feet vary so much. I am a 10.5 in the 001 Corthay, a US9.5 in Rider Boots, UK9.5 in G&G TG73, UK9 in C&J 348...

Too loud for a dress shoe, or you just actually hate caramel brown?

Really, bad enough that I should return them? Hmm.

The color is equally bad on these?
