^ That bottom pair is beautiful. Would look great in a chocolate museum calf.

Any radica color would be awesome.

After this first wear (I tend to shuffle).
Is there anything can be or should be done in this case?

I'd get some Barge Cement from a hardware store or cobbler and glue them back down.

Very nice. Im about to add the loafer to the collection of ptb and wingtip. How does the loafer fit compared to the other two?

PVA or better yet some Titebond III. Use light pressure or just keep pushing it into place until it no longer wants to pull up and then set aside to dry. Water clean-up and should wear well.

forget the gemming and the fact it's from EG.

not a rule, i know of. e.g. the alden, g&g, carmina etc. have a heel counter, too.

probably i cannot put my finger on it. the mix of different stitching patterns doesn't help.

GOnna have to agree, not feeling the different stitches. The color is great though.

I saw these on the Leffot blog. I want. [IMG]

page 12 and 13, imperial collection. looks like they lifted AS and EG designs straight out, mixed with Lobb Paris Misty / Museum Calf leathers. Seriously, they took the dover and turned it into a penny loafer, these look quite nice actually. Impressive really.

Congrats--beautiful shoes--darker in real life. If they fit right you will love 'em! Break them in on the carpet first and enjoy!

Thanks. The loafer fits TTS. I am a solid 10.5C in most AE and Aldens. My only choice was to size down to a 10D for these, as well as the wings and PTB. The wings and PTB have room to spare but the loafers are dead on for 10D. They are snug for me and a hair more length would be ideal, but they work. When I wear them sockless they are perfect. Thin socks, good. Thicker socks, a little tight at the tips.

But just gorgeous shoes. Definitely worth it if the fit is in the ballpark.
