    I have been using the CREME UNIVERSELLE for a long time. It's a leather cleaner and conditioner. Good stuff. More economical than the RENOVATEUR.

    When you watch the video from JM Weston' website about a gentleman's demonstrating shoe polishing, you can see he was also using that cream to clean/condition the shoes.


    I went to the JM Weston web site and watched the video. A little more than half way through it says "Shoes should be polished at least once-a-week". I was surprised by this. Is this common practice for most people? Have I been abusing my shoes?

    Why, if I may - does the heel counter on the Southwold look wrong?

    lots of win since i visited last. there appears to be a double monk wave going on. and those croc/calf G&G's are not my cup of tea, but dear God does the finishing look impeccable. anyway, here's my latest contribution. i have been looking for some suede oxfords...so i got......black monks [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    love the boots, the southwold not so much...
    Thanks...the boots are extremely comfortable. I rethinking the Southwold but I know I would like to buy a spring/summer shoe in whiskey. I like to wear linen, seersucker and white and light blue jeans in the summer so I would like something I can dress up or down. Everyone...what's your thoughts on navy suede for summer?
