I just got my bespoke G&G shoes. Tony calls this style a reverse balmoral and I had them do the top part in croc. Color is espresso.

I lent the shoes to Steven at Leffot and he took some sweet pictures of them for me and he might post them on his blog.

The Cambridge in Cedar Suede is the nicest shoe I have seen in a long, long time. Are these on sale at the armoury?

EG Greshams in burnt pine, 82 last. I believe I have the unexpected distinction of having purchased the very first and very last shoes from the winter sale - and both the same model. [IMG]

    Home ownership is vastly overrated...

Several years ago, I commented on AAAC about how I was foregoing buying some very nice Brionis because I was saving up a downpayment for a house. Someone responded, "Don't be silly, Srynerson, you can't wear a house!"

Excellent! I've said it before and I'll say it again: I LOVE classic Jodphur boots. Can't wait for mine to come in from Chay/AS in medium-dark brown suede!

Manged to score these EGs off the bay for a princely sum of £40. Anyone have any idea of age? I'm thinking of sending them off for a recraft but they do have that old shoe smell (kind of like an old bookstore...) [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
