1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Those black vass are great!

Uhh....berluti....I has the misfortune of seeing where these were made....The only thing those puppies were missing was the "made in china" label. Upon entering the factory you would believe you were teleported to the glorious people's republic.

Blake sewn shoes for over $1200. lol. Allen Edmonds should raise their prices 8 fold on that price-to-quality scale. Vass would be 5K or so?

    Edit:

hey fritzl, long time no wienerschnitzel!

New Carmina, bought this morning. They are my first - and probably will remain my only - cordovan shoes. I love the heavy stitching... [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Alden for BB unlined #8 LHS. Thankfully, I got a clean pair with (as yet) no sign of Alden's recent quality issues.

Peal & Co Pebble Grain Wingtips. Sockliner says C&J 341, could anyone tell me what the conversion on these to UK is? Planning to add softspikes and turn them into golf shoes.

What are they tagged as? Pretty sure they are stamped US sizes, so just size down one for UK.

Do you mind sharing a model name or number of these and the store where you bought them? I would appreciate it.
