1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    gdl,
except for the split-toes, which are not my cup of tea, these are all quite nice, and one of the highlights of the CBD thread.
I especially like the Kitons -- very elegant design.

Thanks. The JL Norway are one of my two pairs of rain shoes. Pebblegrain, sturdy and rubber-soled. They work well for that.

Just picked up these bad boys from B&S yesterday. I can't wait for them to arrive.

Yeah, I'd be biting my fingernails if I were you! Those EG shell gunboats are pretty incredible. Don't hold your breath, though... international shipping can be a bear.

    AGAIN, Congrats on the purchase!

Alfred Sargent for Thin Red Line. There was some crazy sale on them 2 years ago and the forum bought all of them, I think. Way before I knew anything about shoes. They feel like slippers now. [IMG]

^ You don't seem to wear them much? I've ruined mine (walking on salty snow) several months ago. They're now rain/snow day shoes.

I think I wore them for about a year straight, 2-3 days per week.

    Then I stand corrected.

The Grenson Trent model is identical, colour/eyelets/last shape.

    Very noice tho.
