    Nice but lace them properly

    I kinda like this for a more casual shoe.

    I think balmorals should always be laced straight european style or over under and bluchers should be crisscrossed.

    Thoughts on these?

    I'm not a fan of shoes that mix pebble and smooth grain leathers like that. Makes the shoe seem neither fish nor fowl, IMO. I suppose saddle shoes might be an exception, if done right. But those black ones aren't particularly attractive in my book.

    The pattern and last are nice. I'd wear them if they were all smooth leather.

    Not that it should mean anything to anyone but I find jb_1977's monks to be more attractive than those.

    Are those black ones Magnanni? Im not a fan of the mixed leathers too, but the last looks nice.

    The ones from Leather Soul up there are a Russia Calf saddle.
