Why do you say that? [IMG]

He has a different taste in shoes than several other members, and that was well established through several different threads.

It seems they got a little carried away on that toe medallion.

maybe, most of my concerns are about quality, period.

^^ both are nice. I would have preferred two eyelets for the chukkas.

I'm not sure if it's my particular sample set, but my 3 eye chukkas (C&J for Polo) are so much more comfortable than my 2 eye versions (Alden). The third eyelet just seems to alleviate pressure on the top of my foot and makes for a more secure fit.

    Not many loafers, Stephen.

Being remedied this week hopefully! Got my eyes on some loafers on eBay which are from the huge influx of Lobbs from the factory sale last week. Fingers crossed...

Maybe it seems in the picture, but I really don't think so.

They are a sport shoe in my opinion. The colour, the lazes... And for that matter, I think that somethin different as long as it is not exagerated is nice.

If not, all my shoes will look the same...

The brogues are small instead of big, and the rest of the shoe has little decoration, so I think is not an excess:

Those were a bit of an odd find. They're C&J for Purdey. Kind of a hiking boot. Served me very well for a trip around India.
