These are beautiful.. I only would take off the key fob end on the laces and make the hardware on the belt silver. Thats just me. Nice finishing.

Used to ogle these in the shop, 'Oh no, Sir, they never go on sale!'. Gulp. Took the plunge.

C&J Pembroke, Double sole with Dainite.

    ^ I have that in shell -- Marlow/Darlton [IMG]

Is cardiff and pembroke one the same shoe, except for danite sole vs. leather sole?

If I recall, the Cardiff isn't grain.

Pembroke: last 325, tan scotch grain calf, dainite soles and storm welt

Cardiff: last 325, tan calf, double leather soles , no storm welt

I prefer the Pembroke, a double leather sole without storm welt doesn't looks good.

Those look great I_D, maybe even nicer than the shell PRL Marlow/Darlton! [IMG] So the Pembroke is the one j.crew sells?

Thanks, Wes & Fritzl. Wes, it does look that way, doesn't it? Perhaps with a leather sole though, I can't tell?
