    I don't understand the infatuation with chukkas on this forum.
    When Daniel Craig wore some dark brown suede in Quantum of Solace it did not make them less popular.

    they might be well made, but i can't stand the aesthetics. no big deal

    the chukka itself is not my kind of footwear, but there have been shown some good looking examples i.e. marteganni, vass, c&j etc. still i wouldn't bite.

    ^^^I don't like the Alden chukka on the Barrie last, even though I have a pair. Minve have become my shoes for shoveling snow and other unpleasant tasks.

    EG "Malvern" in chestnut on the 202 last, I think. Last possibly a bit squared off.

    I'm saving the pennies up for that style - a real beauty.
