He has already registered on the forum and I hope he will start posting and unravel the mystery himself!

The certificate on the wall is a bit difficult to read, but his name is Masuro Okuyama
and he was awarded a Gold Medal at the Wiesbaden shoemaker's competition (held every three years).

As he is quite a young men, I presume he won earlier this year and not three years ago.

+1. This is his website: http://masaruokuyama.com/ some nice shoe-making-in-progress slides.

At the bottom of the second to last page, he mentioned this gold medal, and it is indeed 2010.

Bespoke Lobb Monks - needed them in a durable leather that had a nice warm patina and could withstand Town & Country. Looking forward to breaking them in!

I do not like austerity stitching and feel that plain monks are boring. I also do not like grained leather

HOWEVER, these Bespoke Lobbs are gorgeous. It has made me rethink of acquiring a bespoke sample myself due to the austerity design matching well with the grained leather.

This is the beauty of this never ending shoe porn thread, I get inspired by stuff I thought would not look good...and now I'll possibly get the same thing but in a darker brown leather....nice job Artoftime
