    ^Yes, Barrie, I'm pretty sure. I don't think they make them in the pebble grain anymore. I thrifted them, actually, brand new and my size. Quite incredible, really.

    Chukkas are very comfortable to wear, try one sometime.

    Comfort's fine, I just think they're strange and ugly looking. They're disproportionately lauded around here.

    To me, they're evocative of some kind of mediaeval clown shoe.

    I don't get boots, period. I feel too constricted in them.

    I don't get footwear either. They don't feel natural to me. I prefer to go around barefoot.

    You have convinced me to buy a pair of dark brown chukkas.

    I am already waiting for the 403 indys this month. Time to go browse shoemart again <sigh> <wheee!>
