I would agree with that. Would not keep either.

Doc's grunge chic phase is spiralling out of control.

the PS are dip-dyed black, the JL are black museum (kinda hard to see the mottling in the pic, but it's there)

They're plenty different enough, although neither of them shout 'Wow' to me...

Twenty quid for well constructed English made shoes is always going to be a bargain. They look like unissued Forces stock. I picked up a pair of white oxfords for a similar price. Are these calf or corrected grain?

Generally I've found the leather quality of Sanders to be better than Loake 1880, construction on a par, although the Loake's tend to have the edge in last shape. You've got a good buy.

Some Settantatre / LR1973 pics. Opposed to some forum myths Settantatre is not a shoe manufacturer, but a brand that uses another, Naples based, shoe manufactuer for their offerings. Tom Ford uses the same one btw.

Picked up a few pairs of AE shoes today.

Van Ness', and also picked up the Calhoun Chukkas, because they were on sale and I scored an extra 10% on the entire purchase.

I am just starting to build my wardrobe.

There are some amazing shoes in this thread!

Interesting. Looks like Berluti meets Vass. What kind of welt is that on the double monks? Some sort of weird storm welt?
