Twenty quid for well constructed English made shoes is always going to be a bargain. They look like unissued Forces stock. I picked up a pair of white oxfords for a similar price. Are these calf or corrected grain?

Generally I've found the leather quality of Sanders to be better than Loake 1880, construction on a par, although the Loake's tend to have the edge in last shape. You've got a good buy.

Picked up a few pairs of AE shoes today.

Van Ness', and also picked up the Calhoun Chukkas, because they were on sale and I scored an extra 10% on the entire purchase.

I am just starting to build my wardrobe.
