There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cross-pollinating from the Vass thriid:

I can haz an F-last navy blue suede penny loafer with single leather sole, black edge dressing, rubber toe guards, natural welt top, white stitching. Not formal like black suede pairs nor boring like most brown pairs, navy lives, at least for me, in a niche of its own making. The shoemakers at Vass seem to have greatly improved the evenness and accuracy of their welt stitching. I't not stellar yet like those of the Japanese, but looks better already.

The key idea was the vintage style white stitching. Congrats!

A selection of shoe porn for you - and a shout out to Burford Valet. If any other members in London are as uninterested as I am in spending their spare time polishing shoes you will find that Stephen and his team do a great job. Close ups of a pair of bespoke Cleverley lazyman oxfords and also a pair of St Crispin's Russian leather chukkas. As you will see they have fixed the often seen uneven wearing

They also do a mean sponge and press

Found both pair of "limited edition" on eBay. The brown pair were in like new condition for a paltry $450, I had no competition for them. I contacted the seller of this pair and did an "offline deal" for $200 off the eBay price. I have "limited editions" on my watch list. Probably the nicest shoes in my collection.

The seller of the blue Santonis offered me this pair for $2350. A little too rich for my blood. Spectacular shoes!

The shoes look beautiful, but only shame is that they're derbies :(

One may well prefer the Oxford... But if you truly love fine shoes, you need to learn to embrace the derby as well. Can you really own 100 pairs and have none? Lol.

I have one pair of derbies and embrace them, but I guess out of all my shoes they are the ones I wear when I can't be asked to put on oxfords on for the 100th time in a row... :D
