Berry berry nice, not familiar with the Italigente brand but it certainly is going to add more temptations. [IMG]

Hi gentlemen, currently i live in rural area and there're some pebbles on the ground and my rubber sole shoes would end up like this every day:
    this[IMG]
does that mean i should avoid wearing shoes with leather sole before i move to CBD...?

Anyone familiar with Van Bummel Noble Blue? Reviews weren't too flattering although it looks like AE/Loake uquivent. Any experience?

Van Bommel is the Allen Edmonds of the Netherlands. Noble blue is comparable to the Allen Edmonds independence line. The quality has decreased recently though, as the lower lines are made elsewhere, I guess the blue noble is still made at the Dutch factory. They use Goodyear welting as well.

Thanks for the feedback on Von Bummel. That's consistent with what I've read.
Is the leather used decent on the Noble Blue line? I know it's not EG but I hope it's not plasticky. The pair I'm looking at appears to be Norwegian constructed.

I'm not a leather expert. I myself have asked many questions here on style forum. I have just recently started building my shoes collection.

like I said its more Allen Edmonds level and maybe slightly below carmina.

Van Bommel quality of the 10-15 years ago was top notch. Dunno which year built you are talking about.

These are the shoes I've been eyeing. I like the look but I actually saw a previous pair, same size and all, just sell for $30 a couple months ago. Big difference in price!

As we all know, just because it looks good doesn't mean that the value is similar.

They look really nice and well built. I believe those are the top quality of previous years.

Funny the exact pair of shoes sold for $30 a couple months ago. It has the same damage in the toe area. $30 to $339...seller is looking for a big upcharge lol

Picked up this pair of Lobbs on eBay. Gave them the presidential shine and they look like new.

Would the difference in suede nap between the left and right boot be acceptable (see last picture)?
