Cravate apart from a tiny single line of stitching that brown single monk looks identical to the Vass I have in the same style. Cross-fertilization between Mannina and Ugolini (wo designed the Vass F) around the corner perhaps?

The bright light makes the suede look a lot lighter than it actually is.

These shots were taken in a little more shade but still the suede appears lighter.

Nice shoes jjl5000. It would be nice to see them on. Maybe you'll take a picture?

    Some Grenson Masterpiece love.

Clinton - I'll try to remember to take a photo [IMG]

Wes - I wanted to experiment with a few different options. As it happens, another balmoral boot is in the works as well [IMG]

Cool. Who were these Masterpieces made for?

They were made for a UK based company called John Lewis.

I had two pairs my for John Lewis, but these are my nicer ones.

    Cheers

To be perfectly honestly, I don't know (as I didn't purchase them from JL). However, based upon when I bought them (around 2 years ago), it would have been no more than 3 years ago. Cheers Clint
