Now THAT is what I call a gorgeous full brogue (a shoe I'm otherwise not fond of).

I don't think my shoes are quite as nice as some of the ones posted, but I thought I'd add. I'm new and this is my first post. I replaced my Johnston Murphy Hyde Park Cap Toe Oxfords with a very similar pair, Johnston Murphy Melton Cap Toes. I bought the Hyde Parks at the store for $265, but I got the Melton's off of eBay for $75 New. The leather is less supple than the Hyde Parks, but they produce a better shine. Truth be told, I tried to take care of my Hyde Park's but I was very new to owning shoes at the time and I didn't do a good job. This time around, I started by purchasing some insoles to help wick away moisture and control odor. I got some plastic toe taps prevent the front tips of the soles from wearing thin and bare as quickly as the old pair. I tend to walk very forward, so the front of the soles tend to wear out before the rest of the sole. I also got a pair of rubber galoshes that fit very tightly around the shoe and work to prevent water damage from snow and rain. They do really well in keeping the mud or slush off of the shoes after a wintry Boston snowstorm. They're a very basic pair of shoes and not as stylish as some of the shoes I've seen in this thread. I know these are cheap and nothing compared to the caliber of shoes posted here. I just wanted to contribute.

Though I'd get it sans medallion, in blackish-olive.

But.. but.. M-B CL600 costs over £100K in the UK. Here for that sum you can put yourself into Bentley GT Coupe and still keep $30K in the bank.
Consider that a consolation. Sorta [IMG]
