Hey Christofuh, are they the Gherardo chocolate brown tramezzas? How do they run size wise? I usually take a 12 D, and I see a pair of 12 B up on ebay.

    Thanks!

I have the 11.5D (my regular size) and a pair of 12Bs. I can wear the 12B, but they are tighter than I thought they would be. If your normal size is a 12D, the 12B would fit too tight for comfort.

Thanks, mr monty. I'll have to wait for my size to show up.

LLOYDs remind me of zee German Aldens albeit with a pinch of European refinement and sleekness. Not sure what to think of their mid $500s price though [IMG]

The 3 pairs of shoes in the picture aren't Lloyds, they're made by Alt Wien.

    Von Rothbart,

You should arrange for Style Forum shoe aficianado trips to Europe. These tour pics make me wish for a European vacation. [IMG]

I don't know if I am qualified for that but I'll defer to iammatt as our guide to Italy, and I'll arrange RJMan as our Freedom guide and Bengal-stripes for the London segment of the trip.

I'll most likely go back to Budapest with a side trip to Italy next late fall or early winter, you have an open invitation to come along.

That would be fantastic. May take you up on the Italy trip. I'll talk to Matt and see what his schedule looks like.

We can all go to Berluti for some shoes. [IMG]

It could just be the way they are polished, but those shoes look like they are made with corrected grain leather.

Highly-polished fine grain leather IMO. Bespoke-quality leather can look very shiny because it's so fine. But in person, you can definitely notice the distinction between the high-shine and the plasticy corrected grain.
