So asked the boutique about the Mogador line above .... full bespoke shoes (each customer has an individual last, handmade etc.) created to commemorate the opening of the new bespoke HQ at rue Mogador in Paris near the Opera.

The HQ includes offices, the workshop, last room and a customer order salon with a complete display of the possible styles.

Metkirk, excellent shots of those C&Js. What is your photography secret? I can't get my images to look anything like those. Can I ask why there is such a long wait for those Cottesmores? Are they a special order or something?

These JLP Wroxham arrived yesterday. I sold my Grenson Balmoral boots and I need a pair of bal shoes for Ascot. I originally wanted a pair of Phillip IIs but they did not have them in black.

Nothing really extraordinary about them. I like the stitching at the side. Its a bit...I dunno... subversive?

I don't know why there's a long wait time but was told by Pediwear and Robert Old that CJ doesn't have any in stock, only available for pre order I think.

For the photos, as long as you have a huge light source (umbrella, softbox...) hovering 1 feet above the shoes you'll get similar results. The secret is big big light!
