OMG, the StefanoBi is drop dead gorgeous. I really lover the color. Where did you get that? May be the color would show better without flash, on the other hand, some hues and contrast wouldn't reveal much without flash.

I really like those. Berluti has some blue shoes like the StefanoBi but they are darker still.

Anytime is a good time to plan for seersucker and linen. The (fe)mailman brought these beauts today, AE Windhams:

Alan, I love these! They scream cream linen and G&Ts.

Berluti used to -- and should still -- make your shoes any damn color you want.

AlanC: The (fe)mailman? That's one confused post(-op?)person! I love the shoes. The color and design look like something cool and daft Edward Green designed that never sold that ended up in the private collections of seekers in France -- or Flusser.

It's an expression borrowed from sophisticate Bart Simpson, which he used in a long ago Simpsons episode to descibe the postal carrier who happened to be a woman.

Thanks! They hardly seem like AE at all, do they? The more I see AE's discontinued designs the more impressed I am with how they used to be. I suppose they make what sells and discontinue what doesn't, so it's not entirely their fault.

I just got some Allan Edmonds shell cordovan shoes that do not seem like Allen Edmonds either - plain toe, with medallion, incredible fit, very stylish. I'm very happy. I'll have to post pics later.

Indeed, I had some polishing and coloring done in the London store (these folks are trained by Olga herself) and it turned out well.
