My second post to the big board here.

These are my vintage NOS Florsheim Kenmoors. A bit more rare than the painted sole V-cleat Kenmoors that are often encountered.

Construction, or at least quality of leather is by far and away highest for any non-cordovan Kenmoor I have seen. Full leather insole and insole liner. Leather lined counters and heal with canvas lined vamp and toe. Marked Union Made on the insole. I guess they did not need five nails in the waist back then, note the tight stitching on the soles. Enjoy.

stunning and without that irritating stell heel triangular cleat....I would hate to hit wet road with the triangle in place...gimme rubber any day.

Those are cool, although black longwings always strike me as a strange beast. And seeing them reminds me of the NOS cordovan longwings (w/heel cleat) that I bought on ebay and got lost in the mail. [IMG] Pisses me off still.

Dang, VR, I keep missing out on the black ones. They remain on my RTW short list before I abandon RTW altogether.

Is RL still keeping these in stock?

I guess they've stopped serving these with the hinged 888 trees...too bad.

VR, Thanks for reminding me how much I love my Grants in black (and chesnut too). Your pics inspired me to pull out my black pair and I am delighted to be wearing them today. I
