Sorry, I didn't take photos of the shoes I got this evening, but the attached photo is one I found exactly like the pair I bought. They're Sutor Mantellassi and appear to have been worn only indoors. The price? $230.

Did you get these from the ebay seller out of Naples?

Which RL sale did you get those Montgomery's from? What city and store?

My brother picked up a pair from the Mansion in NY.

No, I took the picture from ebay, but bought the shoes, which are a darker brown, from Jeremy's in San Francisco. The ones I saw on ebay were going for around $500 on the starting bid. That's why I felt $230 was a pretty good deal.

Vass is, in effect, MTO in a lot of cases. Two months if you are lucky, three to four months if you are not.

This was definitely an anomoly, but they also had a pair of size 11 Zegna shoes, black oxfords, for $160.

Also a pair of Lobb black captoes with broguing on the edge of the cap. These were size 10 and were also $160.

There were more Zegna shoes as well as Prada, Dolce and Gabbana, and John Varvatos.

Thanks Am aware they are MTO, was wondering due to the shell and supply. Know that may have changed. As portnoy stated 10weeks for calf ... As I considder a shell to be a winter item I stil have time [IMG] But will comunicate with Eva, or will Eiko have a better price on export?

Damage from the recent RL sale. Edward Green RLPL Montgomery 888 last:

Very nice VR. I shouldn't have asked to see them. Now I must find a pair.

No, the heel of the Vass is taller, and the 'lip' is more pronounced.

To Von Rothbart and others, I found the RLPL Montgomery black wing tip monk strap at the Beverly Hills store

Naturally I got the last one in my size and still at 40%, so the damage was only $610

Thank you so much for posting the pictures and information.

I've been dreaming about a shoe of this design for years and was fearful I would have to do EG Top Drawer or G & G Bespoke to get it

For those interested, they still have a 9D and 13D in stock
