What would this board be without Andrew?[IMG] [IMG]

If I disappeared, nobody would notice!

When Andrew was on Hiatus, back in January, everybody noticed[IMG] [IMG]

BTW: I neither have nor hate the boots. I like them a lot and don't have them!

    Should that be "haetus"?

    Don't be a haeta.

I hae everyone of those shoes, save Parson. [IMG] [IMG]

What's funny about it is that it could say either "I have" or "I hate" every one of those. Or just "I hae" them all.

I am sure it's just a typo that he meant "have." C'mon, I don't think Andrew ever met a pair of Edward Green he didn't like, let alone hate. You were reading between the lines too much. [IMG] Or this how an internet vocabulary was borned.

Love the Marston, it really ages very well and gracefully.

Now here is a shoe that looks better with a bit of wear. In its pristine state, I find it almost too delicate. But here, it looks great, and it's only going to get better.

+1. The worn Marston looks as good, probably even better than when spanking new. It adds more characters and another dimension to it. It looks more organic. Perfect. The quality of a pair of well-made shoes can't be more apparent when they're worn for some time. This what separates boys from men. [IMG]

Suggestion to aportnoy and vR: you guys should consider updating the damage reports after some wears and polishes, and chronicle how they age.

What's so funny about that? [IMG]

I don't think they ever actually WEAR the shoes, just keep them in climate controlled display cases.

I have seen seamless back from other makers such as Lattanzi and Vass. Is it more difficult to make shoes with seamless back?

    Yes.

What's so funny about that. [IMG]
