These babies are really gorgeous, they're a completely different beast from the EG version.
How do the EG and the SL version compare in size and fit?

Although the design is the same (Asprey's own, I guess), the lasts must be different.

Wow, I feel honoured when a resident shologist asks me questions about shoes.

They both fit very similar, may be the SL last is a tad longer. If you'd like I'll post side-by-side comparison of the 2 versions.

How much the London store is selling the SL version at regular price?

    I believe it's GBP 850 ($ 1500).
Too much for me. I have to wait for the Sale.

I've only asked, that on the first day of the Sale, I can rush in, grab them in size 8 (before aportnoy can get to the phone).

Do you know if Asprey continues to use EG & SL as its men's shoes suppliers? I assume Asprey is staying put at 167 Old Bond? Asprey NY will be moving to a smaller quarter on 57th after the closing of the current location and will eventually move to Madison. I wonder if Asprey NY will carry the same stuffs as the London store.

I'm afraid, I have no idea what Asprey will be doing.
I think they have a long climb to reach a profit (if only a single Dollar or Pound).

Any tips for lighting shoes for these shots? I find it hard to get a good picture.

This may be what you are looking for:

The departed sysdoc might have used the same setup for his studio quality pictures he posted here.
