What shoes are on the right in these two pictures? I could potentially love them.

Argoth, that specific display case are the bespoke models.

they were made just for the store; they looked to be around size 8.5 and are not for sale.

they are absolutely beautiful in person, i just did not get the right lighting on those two photos for some reason.
the split toe had a norvogese welt, which did not appear in the photo, but i never knew lobb would do that welt.

Nice report.

what do you mean it worries you? I really like it. It would nicely match the Chapels!

nice photos christofuh. nice ...nice both of em.

anyways, i saw the AE McClains in shell cordovan today at south coast Allen edmonds.
i did not know what all the hype was about the mcclains around here and especially in cordovan.

but after checking them out today, i have to say they are the most delicious pair of gunboat full brogues i have ever seen.

my wanting a pair had me entertain the idea of purchasing a dinkelacker previously months ago, but that fell through. ive been looking for a gunboat full brogue for awhile.

that maclain is it. it is definitely my next pair of shoes when i get back to purchasing some for myself again.

Shoe,

How did you manage to become so expert on the subject of shoes?

Do you mean MacNeil or McClain? I know they've always made the MacNeil in cordo (double oak longwing), I don't remember ever seeing a McClain in cordo though.

as Tarmac said, I think you mean McNeil....those are the longwings. The McClain are oxford brogues

but the McNeil is very nice, the classic American longwing. They look just like the Florsheim Kenmoors.
