I have a sudden urge to buy 5 pairs of shoes. For sure that's overkill. Especially with a dry bank account like mine.

Currently this is what I wear (shoe wise):

1 (pair) Hush Puppies: Semi-Formal black loafer. comfortable. love it.
1 Puma futurecat beige/brown: quite dirty... still wear it every day. my standard shoe.
1 Asic trainer white/black: almost all black now. this is my 'neglect' shoe, i wear it to work (dirty environment...). needs to be replaced. i'd never wear out in public unless i'm walking to work lol.
1 new balance runner: gym duty
2 converse slip-ons. beige/checkers and black.

now I want 5 more pairs. 2 pairs of gucci trainers, 1 pair of gucci velcro sneaker, 1 pair of lacoste velcro, 1 pair of vans slip-ons (classic checkers that every mod scenster has....)

I'll probably end up only buying 1-2 pairs of gucci and 1 pair of lacoste instead.... but I'm torn! I want all of them!

lol.

need something sorta-flashy to go with my dh 19cm blacks (i just wear my black slips for this now)... and a new everyday duty for my APCNS.

not to mention when winter comes i'll need another pair of boots or something....

lacoste:

gucci:

3 - http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/3/9/9...56699797_o.jpg

and i'm sure everyone knows the vans...

hm.
i don't have a pair of chucks..... i need one of those.. probably black low-rise........

Im not quite shore what the point of your post is, but I have to say that youre wishlist is pretty horrible... velcro guccis and lacoste? Settle for 2-3 pairs of chucks instead, cheaper and will last you style-wise.

Yeah the shoes you want look pretty horrid...

Maybe check out some Tretorns? They're pretty nice, and not too expensive.

Hey,

Yeah, I wasn't sure what my post was either. I think I was on a impulse-buying spree and saw all these shoes I was interested in.

Chucks are classic and that's undeniable. However, I don't think I can buy more than one pair. It's something everyone has and although it's great, it's not what I'm looking for.

I want a nice pair for shoes that are fancier, that's why I'm looking at the guccis.

I've decided I don't like the Lacoste as much. It's between the 3 guccis now. I really dig the velcro and the trainers (white/strip) but the gold one is kinda out of place. I'm not sure I can pull off something that flamboyant hah.

I'll check out Tretorns, thanks!

I was going to say, out of these, get the white guccis, but then I saw the monogram was still there. Garish labels are just unpleasant, especially if they are the (as someone said) "canal-street" monogram.

If you're looking for "fancier", look at Common Projects, they are simple takes on other people's classics, but a step above.

Why are Nike Air Force Ones not big around here? From what I know they are the ULTIMATE classic shoe... no?

Really? Wow that's odd, any more reasons why they ain't liked? I don't think they are clunky at all. Maybe I'll make a thread about this sometime...

I hate nike, and basketball shoes with denim, so I skip the AF1s.

AF1=Gaudy. Same thing with Jordan's. They make you look like Sideshow Bob if you wear them with slim jeans (or any jeans for that matter).

F1 are classic street wear. They were released in an era when pin-tight jeans were in vogue, and yet they still outsell entire *brands* in 2007.

pleeze stop with the lacost/gucci

Thse gucci shoes are ugly. You can get better quality shoes at payless than lacoste. Lacoste quality in shoes is horrible.
