Where can I buy laces? I'm looking to replace a couple pairs of laces for several boots and would like something of similar quality. Rite-aid stuff hasn't quite cut it.

Review of Luxus sole:

Alright fellas, after several years of low-priced kops on ebay/B&S sales and botched MTO's, ive accumlated a small collection of shoes that fit slightly on the large end. Now half of you will say:"hey! whats the big deal?! have really big feet so i go tts on everything and creases dont bother me and i think rolls are sechy." Which is fine. However the second half, just cant tolerate swimming around in a pair that is 1/4 sizes too big let alone 1/2 large. I fall into the second half and sometimes would lose sleep, thinking of how much better my shoe strolling experience could be, should be must be better if the shoes would only fit perfectly! Well I no longer lose sleep over poorly fighting shoe and the answer has been right under my nose the entire time! hanging at my cobblers store. this:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odk...5573.m570.l1313&_nkw=luxus+tacco+613&_sacat=0

this insole blew me away from the moment it entered my cavernous, dark, moist, boot place. the fit is perfect, the quality, impecable. made from natural leather for comfort and shapes to feet and will not shrink (says the packaging). now you can get a full nights rest and perfectly fitting insoles for less than $10 shipped! and as an added bonus, 2 mm of height! your friends will be like, did you get a haircut, and you'll giggle to yourself because they think your look different because of your hair when its really because you are actually 2 mm taller! tehehe

These are nice.

I get mine from Amazon. Pedag makes a slightly higher quality full leather insole in many configurations. For example, there is a version with semi-rigid arch support which adds even more volume to fill out your larger sized shoes

They are sold in just about every cobbler's/shoe repairer's store in Australia and you just discovered them?

Tip: when ordering shoes, you can can request for spare laces, usually at no charge. Carminative is pretty good about this but they sent me the wrong size :fu:

yeah they are trimmable but i dont think you'll need to if you size correctly. ime, the sizing is peculiar but easy to follow:

I am a US12D and the size 13 mens fit perfectly. size 13 happens to be my nike size

Namor are the insoles adjustable in terms of trimming down the sides/length if necessary without destroying them? Also do you leave them in when you put your shoe trees in at the end of wearing or do you remove them after each wear?

i purchased 3 extra pairs so i wont have to switch them out. once you put them in you forget they are even there.

shoelace express for laces. or travel to japan for the ultra fancy bespoke stuff.

as for shoe insoles, if you really want arch support in RTW shoes, try EG or Meermin LM; they have decent support compare to the other guys. JL has pretty soft arch support. G&G and C&J are pretty non-existent. None compare to bespokes tho, but I suspect you can have Meermin add in arch stiffener when they hand last.
