I almost always wear blue, white or blue and white dress shirts. In fact, I think it is fair to take out the always from that statement. I have some others, but I rarely get around to wearing them. Anybody else like this, other than Mafoofan? For those who mix colors up, can you give any suggestions on how to start doing so? Thanks.

I do the same but sometimes mix it up with the colors of the stripes.

. I have shirts in other colors, I just never bother to wear them. It is as if I can only think in blue and white.

As I'm fleshing out my dress shirt collection I find myself having a hard time finding shirts that aren't blue and white that I actually like. I imagine ones that I would like, say a lavender check, but I can never find them in the reality with everything I'm look for. So I end up wearing blue and white 4 out 5 days of the week. Oh well.

I do have solid pale pink shirt that I like. Perhaps that would be a good place to start considering you don't seem afraid of pink glasses or pants.

Try a white shirt with a thin red stripe (or brown). Also, pink shirts (pale pink) are another good suggestion. I would also recommend pale yellow oxford-cloth shirts.

There are other combinations. I have a white with brown stripes shirt which gets a lot of wear, especially with charcoal trousers and blue jacket.
And of course, anything with pink is also very versatile with navy and/or gray suits be it solid pink or white/blue with pink stripes.

Green striped white shirt will work too, but it's a little harder to coordinate, like red striped or orange striped white shirts.

Anything else, I don't wear very often, except liberty prints but it's another matter altogether.

Ditto. 9 days out of 10 it's blue or some blue pattern. Rarely white, even.

If you are talking solids, try sand, maize, or grey.

Try one shirt in solid pink and one in lavender. My suggestion would be to avoid them in very pale shades.

For further motivation to actually wear them, you might get a tie, pocket square or socks at the same time, that pick up a hint of the color.

I have a white broadcloth, a white royal oxford, a white twill, a white with embossed stripes. Repeat with blue. So yeah, I love my whites and blues.

I wear primarily blue and blue-stripes as well. I rarely wear plain whites and have never developed a liking for checks.

I do, however, wear pink and pink-striped shirts ever so often. They go quite well with a gray suit. I suggest you start off by ordering a solid light pink shirt and see how you like it.
