I have no idea of the mechanics behind it. All I know is they fit good afterward. The low price is the only reason I bothered having them fixed. Otherwise I would have just replaced them with Jantzens.

This same tailor made me two pair of pants copied from a pair of Hugo Boss pants I already owned, but with better construction that the original for $60.00 labor + cost of material (of course he also marked up the material).

BTW, this is in California, not Hong Kong or Thailand!
