I've heard the term "bordered stripe" for the lower one. Shadows only fall in one direction.Shadow Stripe - Shadow stripes consist of vertical stripes with another stripe directly adjacent to it or bordering it- creating a shadow effect. Shadow stripes generally vary in width and usually consist of two or three different colors.
