Shirt/Tie (shoes?) with dark grey pinstripe suit for summer wedding?

I apologize for yet another wedding thread, but most threads I found were for people looking to buy a new suit for a wedding. I am just looking for shirt/tie and perhaps shoes combination.

My suit is a medium-dark grey suit with fine white pinstripes (not as light as Tom Cruise's suit in Collateral, not as dark as Charcoal).

The wedding is going to be in early September, outdoors at a country club of some sort.

I don't have many shirts; for plain ones only white, powder blue, and a french blue. I have a few stripey's too.

Any ideas? Not looking for anything crazy (patterns & stripes), but nothing too plain (white with red/navy tie) either.

A light pink shirt, maybe?

Thanks.

I'd go with a white shirt and pink tie.

Cool, thanks. I'll go downtown this weekend and check it out. More ideas are welcome, of course.

Ligth blue shirt and a yellow tie would also be my advice. For a medium grey suit I would wear black shoes.

I haven't seen your coloring, but my choice would be for a white shirt, or pale gray ... with a rosewood colored tie, perhaps with a gray undertone. Shoes could be black, or brownish mahogany.

Isn't there a chapter in one of the books called "Tie with a Windsor Knot"? I seem to recall that, in the novels at least, Bond disdained Windsor knots as an affectation.

To the OP, I think you chose well. Although if that shirt is gray, I'm not sure I'd pair with that outfit for a wedding as my first choice.

Thanks, the shirt is actually a very light, powder blue, matching the lighter-blue squares on the tie.

Cool. Hard to tell, at least on my screen.
