Guys,

I have a nice dark brown with lighter tone of brown stripe suit. But I am not so sure what colour of shirt and tie combination would go well with the suit? Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I've found something with pink in it goes nicely with a brown suit.

Brown (dark especially) is very versatile.

As mentioned above, pinks go well with Brown.

Light Blue with Brown. (really nice)

Creams with Brown.

Light Greens (mint, Celadon) with Brown.

Some pics to follow.

I agree with all of the above.

I would add that a white shirt with a brown or (even better) black or dark gray tie looks great with a brown suit. It sounds crazy, and maybe I am the only one who likes this, but try it and see for yourself.

I've never tried the light pink route. I've either stuck with white or light blue. I like the pink combo but the tie colors appear to be important in bringing the two colors together. I'll give it a shot. thanks

My go-to shirts for a brown suit are pink and cream.

So, with brown suit:
- with pink shade shirts, which colour of ties?
- with purple shade shirts, which colour of ties?

Thanks!

With a dark brown sportscoat I find a pale blue shirt and burgundy or navy tie works well, White shirt and almost any tie or pink shirt with dark brown tie.
