Shirt + Tie Combo [Advices Needed]

Hey!


This is my first post. I´m from Portugal and I´m 21 years old.


I´m in a difficult situation here. I´m going to a wedding this weekend and I don´t know what to wear.
I have a black (bright/metalic) suit but I just don´t know what shirt/tie to buy for the occasion. It´s my girlfriend's cousin marriage and I want to look good.

Usually I wear a black shirt with a dark red tie, black tie or just no tie at all but that´s for night events.
I have no idea what to wear for this occasion.


Can you please give me some ideas of combinations of shirt/tie that will suit someone of my age? Something soft and modern.

You said that your suit is black. I would wear a white shirt and a POW tie.

White goes with everything but I was lookin for other options for a shirt.
