Whats the dog's boll**ks as far as shirt jumpers are concerned?

I don't like them to be too thin and almost see through, and i dont like a v neck. Also, a nice fabric that won't shrink like crazy??

I wouldnt like to go over $200, but will if i need to

What's a shirt jumper? Some kind of sweater?

yes, sorry. A sweater a shirt jumper isn't an actual term. I just wanted to say a norma jumper which you'd wear over a shirt. I just wear shirts everyday and was thinking about how to best describe the 'sweater' like this http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/i...entPage=family

John Smedley is the dog's bollocks of jumpers. If you don't like them too thin, get the 24-gauge merino wool rather than the extra fine 30-gauge. Absolutely zero shrinkage (if you follow the simple care directions), retail for around GBP90+ in the UK and online, and will last you for many years.

Full disclosure, since I'm forever giving them props: I worked in a shop that sold them years ago.

They do, but there are better places to buy them.

There's a standalone Smedley shop on Brook Street between New Bond Street and South Molton Street that probably has the best selection. Selfridges also had a good range last time I was there.

Glad to help and hope you find what you're looking for.

Don't hesitate to ask the staff about Smedley's history/manufacturing process, particularly the Mackem bloke Neil (the manager) who works on the men's floor.

Picked up a couple and a RL too. Pretty nice, hasn't shrunk at all after one wash
